UK Crime Bulletin: Sexual Assault
On Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, the UK Police Department received a report of a sexual assault that occurred on UK's campus. The incident is reported to have occurred Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 inside the victim's room in a residence hall. The suspect is known to the victim.
The UK Police Department is actively investigating this incident, and the appropriate campus units are working with individuals involved to provide resources and support.
This Crime Bulletin is being issued in compliance with the 'Timely Notice' provision of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998.
