Three people were killed and two others were injured. The Hamilton County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as Shawn McDaniel Sr. (44), Shawn McDaniel Jr. (22), and Laurenz Nixon (21). According to investigators, the father-son pair were attempting an armed robbery when gunfire was exchanged between the suspects and the victims.
