      "verbatimText": "Sept. 28, 2026 - Information About This Morning’s Residential Emergency Alert\nAt approximately 12:50 a.m. this morning, the University issued an emergency notification directing the residential community to shelter in place in response to a reported incident.\nThe emergency notification was directed to the residential community because the incident occurred during the overnight hours, when residential students were the primary campus population affected.\nThe Tampa Police Department responded to campus and investigated the report. TPD determined that the reported emergency was unfounded. At approximately 1:10 a.m., the University issued an all clear. There is no known threat to campus, and normal University operations have resumed.\nThe University is providing this information for members of the community who may have questions about this morning’s alerts or the law enforcement presence observed on campus.",
