The reporting party/victim stated that an unknown male and the victim were involved in a verbal dispute. It escalated when the suspect slapped the victim’s face and then retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and threatened the victim with it. No shots were fired. The suspect then drove away, heading south along La Jolla Shores Drive.\n\nThe suspect is described by the victim as a male adult, approx.50 years of age, balding, thin beard, and wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans.
