The New Haven Police Department is investigating the incident.\n\nAs a result:\n\n• New Student Orientation will proceed as planned, with some location adjustments. Employees involved in any aspect of NSO, regardless of location, should report as scheduled. Additional information will be shared with NSO staff separately.\n\n• Buley Library will be closed for the remainder of the day.\n\n• Academic buildings on the west side of campus will remain closed until at least noon, pending further updates. The School of Business building is open.\n\nWe will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates regarding the power outage, campus operations, and building access as more information becomes available.",
