Upon arrival, officers met with site contractors who reported that three secured storage containers (Connex boxes) and an office trailer had been forcibly entered. The chain securing a walk-in gate and a portion of perimeter fencing were also found to be compromised. Multiple tools and equipment were reported missing. An itemized list of stolen property is being compiled.\nAt this time, there is no available surveillance footage from Campus Safety cameras that captures the area of the incident. The general contractor’s team is reviewing footage from their own cameras and will provide any relevant recordings when available. This incident appears to be an opportunistic crime, given the circumstances. To address this matter effectively, Campus Safety is actively collaborating with the Winter Park Police Department to expedite the identification of the involved individual and evaluating additional security-related hardware. Our actions align closely with our institutional protocols, ensuring the holistic safety of the campus community.",
