      "verbatimText": "NYU Clery Campus Notice\n\nSexual Assault/Fondling\n\nOn Wednesday, November 13, 2024 the Department of Campus Safety received a report of a fondling that occurred at approximately 10:25 a.m., on the third floor of the Dental Center (345 East 24th Street) in Manhattan.\nA patient gave an NYU student an envelope with money in it. The envelope was returned to the patient by the victim, an NYU employee. At that time, the patient touched the buttocks of the employee. There was no further interaction reported.\nNo physical injuries were reported. The employee was offered support services. Campus Safety is assisting the employee with reporting to NYPD.\n\nDescription of Suspect: The suspect was described as male-presenting with a dark complexion and short, black hair. They are 40 years old,  5'8\" and 180 pounds. They were wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. A photo is provided below.\n\nIf you have any additional information about this incident, please contact NYU Campus Safety at (212) 998-2222.\n\nPlease Remember These Safety Tips:\n\nBe aware of your surroundings, especially when walking alone. \nWalk in groups whenever you can. There is always safety in numbers.\nUsing a smartphone or other electronic devices, especially with earbuds, can be distracting and may make you a vulnerable target for an assailant. \nTrust your instincts.
