No suspect description is available at this time. This notice is being shared for awareness and Clery Act compliance, because the information was received through a third-party report, additional details are limited.\n\nThe reporting individual has been offered resources and options.\n\nSexual assault is never the victim’s fault; responsibility lies with the person(s) who committed the assault.\n\nThe NDSU Police would also like to provide some basic safety reminders for members of our community to keep in mind:\n\nGo with trusted friends and check in with each other throughout the night, leave together when possible.\n\nWatch your drink and do not accept open drinks from others; if you feel unusually impaired, ask a trusted friend for help and get to a safe place.\n\nTrust your instincts, if something feels off, leave and contact help.\n\nIf you see someone who may be in trouble, check in, stay with them, and call for assistance.\n\nKeep your phone charged and have a plan to get home safely (ride share, sober driver, trusted contact)\n\nPeople’s safety and well-being at NDSU are of paramount importance to the University.
